I still recommend 2x2gb of ram, although there isn't anything wrong with 2x1gb
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227267 Those will do the trick.
If that's 2x2GB why do the pictures show 3 sticks??

Yes. They are. Like others have said. Buy keyboards @ the store. I once bought 3 keyboards at microcenter for 6 dollars each, new.

You should also see if you can get the 550. Or if you want to wait, there should be the Athlon X4 processors comming soon.

Please give me a lot of feedback. I am most concerned of the AMD CPU and Mobo because I never had them. If I forgot other important components please post them.

Oh yea, this system is just for general use; no hardcore gaming, video rendering etc...
This build should be perfect for your needs.

Athlon X4 is quad. I think that is just overkill. From readings, the processor is expected to be released Aug. Will the price of the dual core cpu drop after the new release?

Sure, win 7 is 'better'. As mentioned b4, when I buy win vista from newegg, it comes with "Win 7 free upgrade coupon".

It could possibly drop a little bit, AMD just had a price drop on Phenom series, so don't expect another one pretty soon.

Going from Win7 RC to any other operating system requires a complete reinstall, I'm sure nobody wants to do that if there's another option.

As aforementioned you'll need to do a reinstall when you go from RC to the retail version, also meanwhile the 2 hour shutting down period will be in effect.

To legenor: How's the build in post #14?
