Grab a 640Gb black instead of the 1Tb, and grab a 4890 as other said.

Considering DX11 cards will be out in November...no
![]() Good build. I would actually go with 2 4850's or 2 4770's in CF. Then sell them and buy a DX11 card. Just me though 4770 CF/4850 CF > 4890

Damnit, forgot about DX11.
Get the 4890 anyways... it'll be a long time before any worthwhile game plays exclusively in DX11.

Spend another $40 on a 4890 and switch your TIM to OCZ Freeze. Otherwise...Approved

Do not want Antec 900.
__________________790GX is a great chipset, and you can't really go wrong with ASUS. You may be able to unlock the 4th core on that X3, too. 4870 is great, but the 4890 isn't much more. You may want to leave some room in the budget for upgraded fans, too.

First off thanks all for the suggestions, below is what has been bought. As you can see I included many of the ideas with a bit over budget but I figure what the hell. I did stay with the 1TB hard drive is seems to me that one item that lasts from build to build is HDs even if they are just for storing old files. I also went to the 4890.
Suggestions still welcome good, bad or other. By the way what's the deal with stupid "free" cables when buying at NewEgg... As if I dont already have a big box of bull**** cables already (well two more to add to it LOL). Thanks again, Cart Item List: Qty.
