I'm sure you still need some time to get aquainted w/your bios settings before you can really unleash the beast w/in.

Edit: Oops I missed where it said DDR1600 and ram spd 800MHz. That is nice ram spd now I'm thinking your NB Frequency may need adjusting and your ram timings from 9.9.9. to maybe 7.7.7.
Yeah I'm getting there. First I want to see what this beast of a CPU will do. Then I'm going FSB then ram. Heck the nice thing was that took all of a min literally(but I had a good idea what it wanted) Plus that made it through mark 06! I think I may be able to get her up to 4.4 for that wonderful 1GHzOC

Ok here I go shooting for 4.4Ghz bee back soon...

Well no luck tonight for 4.4 but I did manage 4.2 This is really going to take a while as there is sooo much to tweak.

Tomorrow will be setting the "case" up how I want it so more pics then, and Friday I will have the new fans so that will help as well.

Lookin good so far! I like to see that easy 4.0 bump, I'll be very impressed if we see 4.4 but even 4+ is remarkable.

Congrats so far!

Well I really don't want to say temps as the single fan I am currently using sucks 1400 RPM 120X25mm and It was very cheap and doesn't move very much air at all.
But just for giggles @ 4.0 16x250 w/ vcore @ 1.44 I am idling at 30cpu and 28 core with an ambient of ~75F or 25.5 c

Load temps after a cig. (hope it's stable messing with the Ram ATM)

Nice, though I noticed your running 2 8800 GTS's on a 790FX motherboard. Is the other card for Physx or what, because SLI is not compatible on AMD chipsets.

Well I have had 4.2 stable but that last 200mhz was out of reach last night (I was tired and am still learning PII and this bios) I know it has it in it!

When I game I use it for Phsyx and when I'm not they both fold. I may pick up some ATI cards down the line but for now my 88's do the job.

Ok fully loaded with this :turd: of a fan and enough voltage to run 4.2 and the ram @ 1800. I topped out at 51c. CPU and 48c core.

Eclipseaudio4, great job buddy. That temperature (51C) isn't all that bad for full load. How long were you able to stress the processor at 4Ghz with 1.44volts?

Good luck
