Good luck
Had it stressed for almost 6 minuets and the temps seemed to stabilize. I just cant wait till tomorrow for my new fans. Going to be push/pull. Once I get those I will be going for Max OC and max stable OC prime tested and the like.

Eclipseaudio4, how do you like your MSI board so far? I was briefly looking at that motherboard a few months ago while thinking about my upgrade.

Looking forward to your Prime testing

Good luck

Hey Mike GJ keep up the good work. I hope the new fans give you the added cooling your looking for. Oh btw have you tried changing your CR from 1 to 2 just to see what kind of difference it makes in Everest RAM bench tests? I see your at over 9k now on memory read. I don't own a AM3 but I'm kind of familiar w/the Ph II's. Maybe you can lower your HT multi from 10 to 9 and then raise your NB Multi to 11 and see if that helps with stability in reaching your goal of 4.4GHz.

Good Luck,

N2G

Great suggestions N2Gaming!

Eclipseaudio4, I forgot to mention...have you tried also giving your NB Frequency some more voltage (CPU<->NB)? With overclocks above 3.6Ghz and 2400Mhz NB a +.200 voltage bump might be required.

Good luck

So far I love it! So far I have taken it to a 250FSB HT and NB up to 2500 with just small bumps in voltage. I love having a LCD poster as I can tell why it did not boot. Plus it's great for a tech bench because of the buttons and HD indicator. Mostly I have just been playing around trying to get used to things.

I have had it @ 2t but have not checked it. I will defiantly try that and I'm sure I will have plenty of questions for you guys as I go along. Like I said ATM I am mostly playing around. I've been focusing on the ram mostly and have had some interesting results. Here's where I am at ATM but I think It will go higher. I just haven't taken the time to really do it right. I have all day Monday to really crank this sucker up!

Th1nk3r: Yea I've given it a bump NB @ 2500 right now

OK per N2G's request from left to right. 2T unganged, 1T unganged, 1T ganged. All other settings were the same and I did three runs each and took the best one. Notice L1 speeds as well, which way would you go?

Eclipseaudio4, thank you for posting up those results. From what articles I've read "unganged" seems to provide the most performance and judging by the screen shots it looks like it did. However I really didn't notice a huge difference versus "ganged".

Interesting results nonetheless

Good luck

Unganged shines with multi-threaded apps more than with benchmarks. Nice clocks so far eclipseaudio4. I told you this board wouldn't disappoint you.

The unganged 1T looks really good. I wish I had the mobo and cpu to test for my self but I don't so I'll have to just live vicariously through you In the past higher ram Frequencies have been obtainable w/2T RAM settings and your on a new frontier now. I would like to see what happens when you adjust your ram from 9.9.9.24.1T to 7.7.7.21.2T Hmm itchy fingers in anticipation... and if those timings work then of corse 7.7.7.21.1T
