Hahaha Cinema I didn't even know... I'll bet there's quite a few ppl on OCN who share a similar taste in custom PC...

Make sure you get AM3 socket and DDR3 ram. +Rep for another AMD lover.

Haha thx media... and yes I do have AM3 sockets with 4GB (8GB eventually) of DDR3 1600, I really really wanted to go with 2000 but it's just a little bit too expensive for me...

Alrighty guys I made my decision on my graphics card situation... I am going to keep the 4890 that I already ordered and save up to buy the 5870 (5870x2 by then??), then I will sell the 4890 and eventually run two of which ever 5000 series card I get, in crossfire...

Sound like a plan? Good!

4.0 is possible on water, or on air but with low ambients that will keep load temps at around 40C max. use as little volts to get it stable, you may have to settle for 3.8 on air at most with reasonable ambients(27C), but at least you're not getting 4.0 with 70C core temps like on intels.

If you can return the 4890 to the place you bought it from and go 5870 then you'll definitely get a leg up when it comes to showing off your rig against your bro and dad. They'll be wanting to use your rig instead of theirs!

Of course that does represent a big investment, so economically it may make sense for you to hold off for now.

Looks like you got your self a nice build. A couple of things though. You seriously should be thinking of the V10 cooler if you are going to do some serious OCing. I will include a link with the comparisons. Also, I would go ahead and get some sleeving for cable management and a couple extra high end fans to help with case cooling. Maybe even a RAM cooler or heatsink. Might as well do it as you build it. And good one on the 4890. Later you can get another and X-fire them, you know the prices will drop when the 5000's come out.

Mygaffer: Thought about it... still debating it... there is a serious internal battle going on inside of me right now... especially after reading some reviews and benchmarks... argh.. LoL

Eric: I originally had a V10 picked out but the $125 price tag is just kinda ridiculous so I settled for a V8. Hopefully I'll be on water someday and will be far past 4.0GHz... Also, I bought a couple more cooler master fans to intall on the bottom and top of my case and I may eventually swap out the 230mm on the top and side for a total of 6 120mm fans... noise is not a big concern of mine...
