Default Help me build a gaming pc for under 1300!

-Everything EXCEPT the monitor/keyboard/mouse/os/speakers.
-Quiet and Stable/Cool(Open to case fan upgrade suggestions)
-Overclockable(Just minor like the overclock like my sig rig)
-Under 1300 US dollars
-Capable of playing games(Sims 3, NFS: Shift, CoD6, TF2, Aion) at max settings (1650x1080, can settle for less then max but high settings)
-Lots of space(1TB preferred, I have no idea how to set up raids; but if someone can direct me to a guide I would like to set one up. Lots of data transferring will be done with this computer.)
-Won't lag while playing music(Songbird which is a memory hog) and browsing the internet with 30 tabs open(My brother has ADD or something and likes to travel while on the internet)
-Modular and future proof PSU with good warranty.
-Front Headphone/Microphone spot, as well as back.
-MicroSD/Media Drive hub.
-DVD-drive
-Not xfire/sli!

I will be running Windows XP for now, Windows 7 soon. I am aware of 5850/70 coming out and will probably wait if the cards are in my budget.

You can feel free to ignore shipping prices and please ignore mail-in rebates.

Major uber rep will be given to those who suggest a reasonable build(even if it's just "check out my sig rig"). MY REP MEANS VERY MUCH.

EDIT: Also feel free to get as close to $1300 as possible, looking for quality parts!

A Gaming PC for $1300 :O BRB

CPU:i7 920
MB:ASUS P6T
GFX:XFX 4890
PSU:Corsair 650W
DVD:Samsung /w LightScribe
HDD:Western Digital Black 32mb Cache 1 TB Space.
CASE:Antec 902
RAM:Corsair XMS3 6gb DDR3

As far as the case goes...you can get something else if thats what you prefer...Personally I'd get a CM 690..and then get a GTX285...But that will take it like $2x over the budget...of course you could always alter in other places...

Anyone who wants to pick apart what I put together, feel free to do so. I put it together in like...5 minutes.

AMD Phenom II 955 black edition
$189

Asus M4A79T deluxe
$178

G Skill ripjaws DDR3 1600 4gb
$79

XFX 4890 in CF if you want to otherwise a 5870
$400

Samsung F2 1.5tb
$120

Samsung dvd burner
$30

Corsair TX 850w
$130

HAF 932
$150

EDIT sorry forgot a CPU cooler

xigmatek dark knight
$45

I believe that's all you need for a smashing PC.

I know you didn't want crossfire but it is well worth it and two 4890's would probably be cheaper than a 5870 for the performance after this price cut

What would be the +/-'s of the CM690 over Antec 902 over HAF932?(ignoring the prices)

And how is Corsair's rep in the RMA department? Was disgusted by Kingston and Crucial.

Thanks for for the super quick replies too =)

EDIT: What is the difference between GTI and non-GTI for Foxconn BloodRage?

i'm the only one with an AMD build

You won't see a big difference from 4gb to 6gb, most apps can't even use 4gb yet. If you want it go for it but your probably better upgrading down the track as it will be cheaper

Yes change the fans, stock fans are terrible with both noise and how little air they move compared to 3rd party ones.
