Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16813131363R Or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16813136067R

Case and Hard drive combo! : http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.273732

PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...orsair%20750tx

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103649

RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231189 Or you could buy mine with better timings and it's gold, for cheaper http://www.overclock.net/sale/582296...r3-1600-a.html

DVD Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827249054

GPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827249054 I threw a 5850 in there instead of a sound card, I think you'll b fine with onboard for now and have nicer graphics. But if you want a sound card get this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16829102019 And a 4890 or a 4870 on the cheap thru OCN

With the 5850, the total is 850 bucks with shipping included. If you want to save some cash go for a 4890. Hope that helps

Not liking the 3x AMD phenom x3, I would rather a x4, And not liking those mobos that much ether, Cause ive had bad experiances with Asus and the other one is well... ugly lol

Hard drive i thikn ill need a 1-1.5TB drive and i think i could live with no sound card for now and just run off the on board till later.

The RAM is nice and i just might pick out my own case later on, All ill need is a ATX mid tower case?

The X4 955 isn't a huge step up from the 720 BE. In fact, the smart thing to do would be to buy the X3 720 as a budget CPU that will last you over a year until you can afford the next generation of AMD's hexacore CPU's, that will in turn be AM3 compatible. You probably won't see a difference in performance between the 955 and the 720, depending on what you're planning on using the PC for. I'm assuming for listening to music and gaming and doing fun stuff, since you wanted a sound card and a video card. In that case the 720 will fit you perfectly.

Those two motherboards are awesome, but look out for that MSI GD70 on open box. They're only 120 open box and are known to be one of the best AM3 mobos.

Which RAM looks good to you, the Gskills, or mine?

Your RAM looks good and so does the Gskills, And i love MSI mobos, So reliable, did you put one up? maybe i missed it.

And my friend had a x3 phenom and it died within 3 months and i found it to run slower then the x4, Dunno if its just a thing with me about always wanting more and better lol.

Well if you're willing to spend the extra 70 bucks on a 955 BE, then go for it!

That is a very rare occurrence that an X3 720 just craps out like that. There must have been some bad overclocking or a one in a ten thousand faulty chip. A 955 BE is just as likely to die And yes the MSI GD70 is a great board for an AM3 setup. Here's one new, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...30223&Tpk=gd70 and unfortunately the open box one is sold out, but a few should definitely come back later this week and you'll see them in stock, just keep your eyes open.

Good luck man!

The open box deals don't apply in Canada. However, the pricing should be quite similar, since the Canadian dollar is worth more than the American dollar.

With your budget, it makes having more and better a bit difficult.

The 720BE is a great budget cpu. the system in my sig was <$800 and it's been great so far. I was able to unlock the fourth core on the 720 so I now have a quad
