Default Is 4 GB of RAM enough?

Will 4 GB with Windows 7 be enough to handle anything I throw at the computer? (not sig rig)

kind of depends on what you're trying to do, if its gonna be an enthusiast game rig id shoot for more like 6GB to be safe about it.. but i tend to overkill

Will do fine for gaming and such but depends on your needs and what you plan on doing

Yes.

I've never gone over 4GB of usage, even while having many, many things open in the background and gaming.

Should be more than enough. I run 4gb with W7 and I haven't maxed my ram out yet.

4GB is enough for gaming rigs... in fact, 3GB is fine as well.

Really, the only time you need more than that is for video/photo editing, CAD, VMs, ect. Programs were you already know that you needed more memory.

I've never needed more than 4GB. Be sure to turn your page file off as well. Makes things snappier.

As others already said, but I too will emphasis this, 4 gigs of ram is plenty.
