Post New rig. Thoughts greatly appreciated

Hi. First post, hope this doesn't stop ya

Alright, some fast read info.
I've been a gamer since younger days but I'm totally new to OC'ing. I now want a rig that's the most bang for the buck and some oc experience included.
It will be used mostly for gaming and playing HD material.

This is one option I've come up with:

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE
Cooler: Scythe Mugen 2
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P
GPU: XFX HD5770 1GB
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaw 4GB DDR3 1600MHz CL7 (7-7-7-24)
PSU: Corsair TX650W
Case: Cooler Master 690 Dominator
HDD: Samsung Spin Point F3 1TB 7200/32

Some inputs of what i want:

Future proof for possible upgrades of crossfire and a PCI-E soundcard.
I also need free card slots for a PCI-E wireless NW card and a PCI VIA SATA card (I think that the Gigabyte card has slots for all this?).
Will run 32-bit OS, most likely Win7.

All inputs are appreciated and I'm positive to change the whole rig if you have any ideas, preferably cheaper alternatives. Keep in mind, the most BANG for ze buck

The 955 from what I understand is just as good as the 965 for $30 less, and get the 64-bit version of Win 7. 32 bit only recognizes up to 3.5GB Ram.

I would stay away from those RipJaw sticks, as they do not overclock well on AMD Systems.

Also, the Phenom II 965BE C3 comes out on November 4th so you'll want to wait for that as it is 125watts, and will require less voltage.

The rest of the build is good.

I would suggest getting these parts:
Mushkin XP 1600mhz Cas 7
Xigamtek NRP-MC651

If you can.

That 650watt will power a 5770 Xfire setup just fine.

965BE Has a better IMC so it can get higher NB Clocks, and thus better Memory performance.

idk if it makes much of a price difference but i picked up a 965 + gd70 msi board for a nice 335 bucks deal @ newegg. where as the 790fxt board comes with a 955 for the same price. just a little thought if you were to get best bang for the buck, id grab a msi board over that gigabyte. the ripjaws should be fine if you dont plan on oc ing the ram that much, i went with the blue ripjaw 1600mhz ones as they were decently priced and fit the color sheme

the rest looks good

I'd suggest the 955 Black Edition over the 965. Also, you'll need to be careful with the Mugen 2 as it covers two of my ram slots even with a thin 15mm fan. The TX750 PSU is probably also a good investment if crossfire is in your future, though two 5770's would be fine on the 650. If you plan to go bigger (i.e. 5870's), that bigger PSU may suit you better. No reason to go 32 bit either. Since your graphics card has 1gb of ram, you'll only have around 3gb or less of ram that 32 bit will see.

I've owned both boards.

The 790FXT is better than the GD70.

The RipJaws will not run at there rated timings on AMD Systems.

It depends on how you mount the Mugen II.

Also, the 965BE Has a better IMC & Clocks higher.
