Yeah, some of it accidentally was sent to my house. I hope you don't mind, but I signed for it...

You are a role model for OCers everywhere. I can't wait to see the builds.

Yeah I skipped buying any case fans--I mean they might be more like restrictors with that gynormous fan on the side puffing away. A round window with the fan remounted onto it would look sweet--got some crazy ideas--going with the aircraft/military look on this one--which is why I think a 5" LCD on the front would be trick--like one of the displays in the ****pit of a jet. Thinking about eliminating the door flaps--or somehow Pwning them with acrylic and hidden lighting.

This is gonna be fun. Pictures soon!

Default Claw Transplant Successful

Lot's of stuff arrived today--pictures to follow... just to say the Big Typhoon lives up to the hype--with a Silverstone 121 on it the Claw stays really cool. Right away I cranked it to max Vcore and tried for 2.6--but it likes 2.5 at 1.65Vcore--the RAM is holding up to a mild OC (416). So Overclock wise the transplant into a well ventilated case with a super sized HS is a good thing.

I simply shifted the components over to the Aerocool case and fired it back up--more upgrades arrived today--but I have to go to the post office and pick them up--and ATI 850 and a pair of SATA drives for RAID and some better RAM (Corsair XMS Platinum) purchased from Chozart.

I was having some trouble getting the pics together--USB bug on the ECS--but I promise they are coming right up.

I am very pleased with the Extreme Engine 3T--it has three heavy duty fan controllers with molex ends built in--the 250mm side fan is very much pushing air! On high it has a low growl that I've never heard from a fan before. The front fan has a doodad in front of it that spins around uselessly--it actually wobbles in an annoying manner--so it will csoon be gone.

Removing the front panel I applied a little too much force and when it popped itoff it really popped off--tearing the power switch wires right off the switch and breaking the rest switch outright--it pulled the LEDs out of their beds of hot glue. All this before I even insert a drive! I broke out the solder gun adn the glue gun and all was well in a few moments.

Managed to get the basics together--no real efforts applied at cable management other than the usual round cables and wire tucks--I did dig out an old 12" dual blue CCL and slap that in there--looks okay--Fishie had modded the backplane for the exact switch I happened to have--very handy indeed.

I will now apply myself to getting a few pictures f the new case--it is very quiet--quieter than any of the other PCs (and a lot bigger too...)

Temps are still decent--but for whatever reason I cannot get it to run stable past 2400 mhz--it'll boot at 2500 but not Fold correctly. I'm going down to the PO right now to pick up some better RAM Choazart sent me--hope that helps me OC higher... Still like the case--walked downstairs and didn't even hear it running...that's a first.
