Well i have been working pretty hard on the Claw the past few days--got 7 HDDs installed and cabled up with round IDE cables--put a SIlverstone Zeus 560 watt PSU in their too--have some stuff coming from Frozen CPU to totally go off on every wire in the case with sheathing and heat shrink and spiral wrap--all UV blue--also have some Bulgin switches coming to replace the cheezy ones on the front. I decided the silverstone 3.5 fan controller is looking pretty lame up front--so I am going to remout it through the case without a plate. Some clear crylic handles are goping up top--maybe--I have them ordered but will have to see how they look first--I like Shawn's custom milled ones a lot better...LOL

Right now th wiring is very tidy and the temps are pretty good-I have some matting that I will be installing through out to silence the fans a bit.

I have some moreideas about how to mod the side panel for a window--this will be my first cut-out type art work--with a lot of detial--so I will keep that on the back burner until I have a full day to pursue it--but basically I want to make the 250 fan less of a focus--so a plexi ring window trapped with the vinykl window molding would be perfect--allowing a bit of the UV reactive stuff to shine through.

That is what I will need to do the switches and the handles and EL light araound the window and the window and te PSU sheathing...I also have more stuff I already ordered that should be here tomorrow--lots of UV sheathing and heat shrink.

I'm just fooling around--some of those drives are okay and some are junk. the 2 30 gig drives are pathetic--those are the ones I orignally loaded up in PATA RAID--after shifting them around a few times one of them lost access to about 1/3 of it's gigs and toasted the RAID array--so those will prolly get replaced with another pair of SATA to run on the NV RAID--ideally another pair of WD Caviar to be able to see if the SIlicon Image RAID HBA is any faster or slower than the NVRAID SATA to IDE HBA. I also need to determine how all those different IDE headers are configured for RAID--but I don't have any 2 drives the same....

The Silverstone Zeus easily drives everything--I upgraded the RAM with some Corsair Platinum that is SPD 3 3 3 8 at DDR 400--and it seems to clock well--but I still cannot get a good stable overclock--even with max Vcore (1.7) and a low HT multi I cannot get Folding @ Home to get all the way through a WU at 2.4 without errors--at 2.2 no problem even with a 4X multi. So I am not sure what to try next to get a decent (20%) OC.

I figured a better PSU--better cooling--better RAM i wold be able to get a better OC--but I am still pretty new to all this AMD stuff.

I like being able to run the fan at different speeds--at low it is really quiet--and if the PC is just idling it is about 1 C above ambient case temp at 33C. Under 100% load after 8 hours with the fan barely turinng over at 1400 rpm it is only 42 C--a few seconds at full blast and it is down in the 30's again. zgrat heatsink and fan. Glad I followed the advice of the BT crowd.

Will be doing a binch more to this case--Bulgin switches for the power and reset--window mod--front panel USB/Firewire Mod--Fan controller mod--PSU sheathing--lighting effects (hope I can show you all something special there) and maybe even a paint job--apart from upgrading some of the HDDs and bay devices I think the hardware is pretty well handled right now--the rest is just for fun.

Working on the PSU sheathing now--the stuff arrived from Xoxide and FrozenCPU--still wating on the connectors--but I got the UV blue heat shrink--and it is sweet--slightly translucent just like the UV blue spiral wrap--pics soon!
