I noticed you dont have a CCBBE 0616XPMW on here, is there any reason why? I am looking at getting a new opty and this one im considering, but dont know of the stepping's performance.

All 3 steppings are extremely good for overclocking.

I just picked up a Opty 170 off of the Egg. This is a new stepping LCBQE. I'll be testing her out this week and post back my results with screenshots. I've Googled this stepping for info and some people are reporting 3.0 ON STOCK VOLTS!!

An update on my LCBQE I was able to run Ortho's for 10+ hrs. with out fail at 285 x 10 stock volts. Cpu-z shows the Opty running at 2841 Mhz.
I bumped up to 291 x 10 still stock volts, Cpu-z showing 2906 Mhz. and Ortho's fails in less than 2 minutes. I've eliminated the mobo and ram as possible failures so it pretty much has to be the chip. Anyways not bad at all on stock volts. I'll be doing more testing to see what it takes to hopefully reach 3.0, I'll post back in a day or two with an update and some screens.

EDIT

So I played around a little with this chip. Upped the volts to 1.41 didn't make much of a difference at 291 x 10. I said the heck with it and put up 1.45v and tried to boot into Windows at 302 x 10 it blue screened while loading. I upped the volts to 1.51 and could boot into Windows and could do basic tasks but it blue screened the second I started Ortho's. Now this mobo does not deliver stable current to the chip, monitoring programs show quite a bit of voltage swings while just setting at idle. This board has 3 phase power, I've got an ASUS coming in late week with 8 phase power. Hopefully that will fix the volt swings and allow me test out more around 3.0 ghz.

Alright, I've switched over to an ASUS A8N-32-SLI motherboard. I still can't find stability at 3.0 but I can run 280 x 10 - 2.8Ghz. at less than stock voltage I've posted a screen of a 18+ hr. Ortho's run at 1.3125v. Overall I'm very impressed with the LCBQE stepping of AMD 939 processors. I'll be doing some further tweaking this week and post back my results.

lcbqe is indeed a very sweet stepping. i'm occt stable up to 2.95ghz on stock voltage, don't really want to run orthos as it takes too long... it fizzles out pretty quickly though. full stepping is lcbqe 0712upaw.

I realize most people don't care anymore about s939, but if any of you still have 939 the LCBQE is a great stepping to get. Here is a screen of an 18+ hour Ortho's run at 2.8Ghz. at only 1.296v I've had it up at 3.0Ghz. but it takes about 1.5v for stability. I'll continue tweaking and post back more results soon. Right now I'm 25 min. into Ortho's at 1.264v at 2.8Ghz.
