Thanks a ton Enterprise
As soon as you get the AM2/AM2+ section done, let me know and I'll be gladd to add the link to the sticky and make it "Offical"

I don't know what kind of information you want, but here's my 939 Opteron.

Stepping - LCBQE
Model - Opteron 165 @ 1.8GHz
Current Overclock Info:
333 FSB x 9 Multi = 3.0GHz with 1.392v (1.36v under load)

All this information can be seen under my sig rig as well. Also there's a link in my signature of my max suicide run which is 3.27GHz. Like I said if you want proof that is in my sig as well. Hope that's all the info you need to add me to the list! If not let me know and I'll update.

PS. I'm definately subscribed to this thread...I've been subscribing to all the Opteron threads lately, lol.

Nice OC pioneer, I'll use the same format as you:

Stepping - LCBQE 0722
Model - Opteron 170 @ 2.0GHz
Current Overclock Info:
300 FSB x 10 Multi = 3.0GHz with 1.4v

All these recent posts with Optys @ 3.0GHz are making me want to forsake my already stable system and go for a three myself!

Do it Joe! I super double dog dare ya!

I'm not allowed here.. they made another thread for AM2 Optys.... I'm the only one on the steppings list. Me and my 1000 Series have been put in time out it seems, probably for daring to challenge the mighty Denmarks!

I joke of course.

Vuxdu, I might be wrong but that's probably because of the CCBWE stepping. Someone needs to chime in the confirm that. I believe that stepping was a poor overclocker from what I hear.

Well, the CCBWEs were awful for air and water cooling, as this stepping group was one of the few (if not the only one) that had no "cold bug." These CCBWEs need a frightening amount of voltage for them to clock high, but this in turn makes them ideal for phase change cooling (or other radical cooling strategies).

I've had a couple of CCBWEs (an X2 4400+ and an Opteron 170), and they dared you to overvolt them. Ran hot as heck.

But see, AM, this only means you're special.
