Hyper-threading is multi-threaded emulation through a special cache manipulatiion algorith, hyper-transport is a next generation data bus for connecting the CPU to the system and/or CPUs to other CPUs in SMP and dual core systems.

wow its hot in here
i just want to say, i have both, an A64 3200 OCed to 2.6, and my P4 baby. i have to say that the a64 cant compare with anything my P4 does, even thought they arent totally matched up equipment wise, with the amd only having 512mb, but it lags in stuff like booting and opening programs compared. the A64 might be better on paper, but like Gibant1 is at right now, when u compare the 2 together the P4 just 'seems' and 'is' faster.
