Hey, do you think you could post this in the CPU cores, overclockage, and stepping thread? I think it would fit perfect in there.

I thought about it. But I don't want things to get too crazy w/ a bunch of stickies, expecially when their so closesly related. I dunno, we can see what everyone else thinks.

nice, im pretty sure that t'bread b 400FSB version was never released though, the last t'bread core i heard of was the 2800+ where amd did a t'bread b variant of 333FSB and the barton variant of 400FSB. likewise there was also a t'bread b flavour offerd in 333FSB for the 2600+ but as far as i know that was it.

why are amd chips like the "athlon xp 1800+" named 1800+ while its operating frequency is only 1.533? I think I heard that it was because it is comparable to a intel 1.8 ghz...is that true?

If I got my athlon xp 1800+ oced to a athlon xp 2600+ which is around 1.9 ghz, will that mean that it is around the same as a 2.6 ghz intel chip or will it be merely comparable to a 1.9 ghz intel chip?
