Question, which is better (AM2 socket), an Athlon 64 X2 3600+ Brisbane or the Athlon 64 X2 3800+(65W) Windsor?

The Brisbane is a 65nm chip, so that runs cooler right?
Yet the Windsor is a 65 W chip, but 90nm.
There is a $3 difference between the two, just wondering which is better.

The Brisbane X2 3600+ utilizes a 9.5x and the 590 MBs usually do 340ish.
The Crosshair by ASUS sure can and the DFI 590 UT is a very close second place to that.

I've even heard of the Brisbane 3600+ doing 3.0GHz on stock air.

Well my 3800 does 2.9Ghz with better cooling and that's only on a 570 Chipset.

I'd recommend this board here...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130057

it's the crossfire version of mine and it's a better overclocker, it's an insane chipset

here's a good SLI board with the 590 chipset

go for the 3600+ and the biostar tforce 550

i have it at 2.75 with only increasing the frequency from 200 to 290 and not touching anything else. its rock stable and idles at 25 C and full load never goes above 44 with a gigabyte cooler. i am sure i can do more than 2.75 but i dont really know how to tweek the other configurations in the bios any more
