model is 2400+

I guess it's just with the older models then. I should have researched the chip a little before posting

Since I just got repped (dunno by who), I decided to bump this thread. It has to be said that I actually succeeded in killing a chip (E2140) by doing this. By saying this I'll like to say that it's definitely possible to do it - if you don't scrape the PCB meanwhile!
