So far, I've gotten her to 3.049GHz stable for benchmarking and that is with a bare minimum of BIOS tweaks. All I did really was set BIOSTAR's "Automatic Overclocking Engine" to it's highest setting and used ClockGEN for the rest. Just wanted to get it up and running as fast as possible and as high as possible. I'm going to seriously tweak it later on down the road to see just how high I can get her but it isn't a pressing matter atm.

I was just about to get a 5200+ or a 5600+ Dual Core but I found this Opteron 1216 at a price I couldn't refuse! Glad I did as I am very pleased with it so far! I also didn't want you to feel like a loner within your own club and thought I'd give you some company!

I love my 1212! Also got a nice deal on it at the time. How many other AMD Dual Cores will do 60C load at 1.52V on air!?!

Got it running at 2.52ghz stock voltage for two years now.. its a CCBWE 0546MPMW it doesn't overclock very well I have given it up to 1.5volt and 2.75ghz was the maximum i could go stable..

I want to see how the phenoms perform then I Will upgrade ^^.

Yeah well it is post lap so I suppose I exaggerate some.. The thermal spec is 74C so no worries. In fact I have had it to 1.58V load on Gromacs and never broke 61C.

Makes me wish I had AM2...62*C load with a Zalman 9500..non lapped though (and only 1.392v).

LOL well that's just Gromacs core it won't run than cool on small FFT that was just to see how many volts she could take.
