47/57 after 30 seconds, but it stopped at 45 seconds, 2.7GHz.
It was stable for HOURS on stock cooler, what gives?
edit: its lasting longer on Gromacs, but temps are 49-50/60-61
RAM is below stock speeds, higher than stock timings: 193MHz, 3-3-3-7-2T
Should timings be lower?

oh yeah, forgot about recording before and after ambient temps...
I don't even think I have a reliable thermometer anywhere...
I know its warmer than 62F because somebody left the thermostat @ that and the heat isn't on
I'll look for a thermometer.

Nate, those temperature readings just seem really high for an aftermarket cooler that has been lapped. I'm kind of wondering if it may need a few more passes with paper. Perhaps the airflow in your case is poor?

the airflow is phenomenal. On the sink itself I have the stock 92mm and an extra 80mm opposite it (pulling air back). I also have a 120mm up front in the 5.25 bays feeding air directly to the freezer in addition to the lower 140mm fan, and I have a 120mm fan on the back as my main case exhaust.

My birthday is this wednesday, anybody want to get me a TRUE?
When Joe's leftover TIM arrives I will lap again, but until then I'm stuck.

edit: why is my OC not stable in blend, but its rock solid gromacs and folding for 16+ hours a day?
