I can get better stable OC's than that on air... PUSH IT!!!
 I run 3.3Ghz daily. 100% stable. 38/55 temps.

seems like the windsors dont like more than 3.2
My 5600 throws a kanip**** at +3.4ghz, but runs fine at 3.2... durch's guide is intense reads, I read it when I first showed up here and it saved me (and this board) a TON of newb questions!

thanks for the link. not sure if I read that one as I read many. Will go and recheck my steps.
__________________superk, im willing to bet its not the cpu limiting my OC.(orthos targeting just the cpu runs without a hiccup) I would put money on the memory, OCZ it may be...

craig... i had the same ram as you and i was able 2 get my 1st 2 gigs i bought up 2 ddr2 1000 mhz, however, they second set i bought l8er didn't like 2 OC at all. i finally ran memtest on each individual set and the 2nd (newest) set came back with a ton of errors. the support at the OCZ forums tried telling me that if windows doesn't crash and ur ram operates at the spec'd frequency, even with errors n memtest then it's fine. i said, orly?! ran prime95 and occt and every instance failed with the 2nd set of ram. they finally replaced it 4 me.
__________________anyways, if u think ur ram is possibly causing the instability, just underclocking it more and set it 2 ddr2 533. i had ur exact same mobo, cpu and ram and couldn't get past 2850 mhz stable on air, at least not with upping the voltage way 2 high 4 my liking, so props
