Overclocking the Black Edition is easy if all you need is 3.1 GHz.
Set vCore to 1.375 and all other voltages to stock. Set FSB to 201 Set Multiplier to 15.5 Adjust RAM divider accordingly. I have yet to get higher than 3.1 GHz stable but I am almost positive that is due to my RAM.

Going Broke Overclocking

3.1 from a 5000+ is a good OC
BTW the TRC of 26 should be good, 24-26 seems to work well on AMD AM2/AM2+ systems.

when ur increase in fsb, at the sametime its also increasin ur mem speed aswell.. so a lower divider in mem gives the ram more space for increase, which at the same gives the cpu more mileage for a higher oc. and in A64 platforms, mem bandwidth doesnt play a major role since the mem. controller is integrated into the cpu. =]

So if I lower it my RAM divider, I can get a better overclock.
