Default Phuture Phenom

Looks like even more life at the high end for Phenom. If we can see them stable at say 3.8-->4.0 Ghz then dont forget how well the memory controller scales at those high rates! I'll bet you AMD is looking at alot of good press in the next few business quarters due to this and the success of the 4xxx series GPUs

-----

"...We've some secret things in the works that you'll here more about later this quarter; that will allow people to get significantly above 3GHz even with a Phenom X4 9850 Black Edition. These are things we're doing more at the chipset level and some updates to some chipsets coming soon. So watch that space; I've said too much already, but you'll see significantly above 3GHz performance from Phenoms for those who really understand and know what they are doing when overclocking..."

Hell Yeah, I'm building my first AMD rig, 5000+X2 BE, and AM2+ so I'll be ready for the new 45nm chips, which will hopefully be good clockers
