5000+BE & DFI 790fx m2rs
Well I got this setup a couple days ago. I am able to run 3ghz on stock vcore. To be able to pass a s&m test at 3.25 I had to jack the vcore to 1.45.
__________________I was hoping for atleast 3.3-3.4, but its not looking very hopeful. Whats the max vcore for these 65nm chips? I was never scared to push 1.6 through my old opty. Any and all suggestions welcome.

Thanks wheels, I could boot and run superpi at 3.44 with 1.55 vcore. No where near stable, but got me below 26 secs on superpi 1m.

i try and messing with the sub timings on the ram though i dont know which ones. Brisbanes like certain subtimings. i would go for 3.4 at 1.55

Yeah this dfi has a lot of sub timings, I have no clue where to start. Im hoping someone can come along and give me some guidance. Thanks for the help so far.

Well 3.3 seems to be running s&m ok at 1.5-1.52 vcore. It usually fails right off on the first cpu test, if it passes it it usually runs through. I think 3.4 may be out of reach, but well see. Ill post some screenshots when the test is all done.

My FSBs R better than URS

Figure your PSU into the fix...and your RAM timings...3.5 is nowhere out of reach....with that combo.

Well the psu is pleanty. and it always fails the cpu tests and never the memory tests. S&M starts with the cpu, then the power supply then the memory. The first test for l1 cache will always fail if there isnt enough vcore. I reckon Ill need 1.6+ vcore to stabilize 3.4.

This is not very impressive, first screenie at 3.25, second at 3.3, and third my max bootable and best super pi 1m time.
