I have an AMD Athlon 6400 Black Edition. Where can I look to see what speed the CPU is running at?

Near the bottom of the page.

CPU-Z will tell you your multiplier, FSB, Voltage, RAM and everything else about your RAM and CPU.

EDIT: D'oh, you can also look in the windows welcome center if you just want to see your CPU speed.

Ok, I thought I had a problem and I guess I do. CPUZ says my core speed is 1000 MHZ but since I have a AMD Athlon 6400 it should say 3,200 MHZ right?

If it's just showing 1000MHz its because you have cool n quiet activated, it automatically throttles the CPU speed when idle to save up energy and reduce heat. Run something that uses the CPU with CPU-Z open and you should see that it'll go to full speed.
