ok, this is rather weird. Brand new WD6400AAKS arrived today and it makes no difference!
I've cleared CMOS a few times already, connected both disks in all possible configs and BIOS only boots up when HDD is unplugged. I have built a few systems in my time and I would like to think that I can get around but I've never had anything like this before. HDD DOA? That would just be uncanny but possible. Any other suggestions guys? Thanks in advance guys, marrow
