Default Upgrade to Phenom?

My MB supports Phenom w/ bios update (already applied) and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to upgrade to a Phenom or get a new MB? (It has to be a Micro-ATX)

Any suggestions? (Please do not tell me to go Intel)
