Default New AMD rig, advise is welcome

Today is a great day because i have sold my X2 3800, along with my monitor the rest of my main rig.
So it's time for a upgrade, Initially i wanted to go Intel, but the prices of the intel cpu's have risen alot over the past month over here so my bet is on AMD again.
This is what i have in mind

AMD X2 6000+
Asus M2N deluxe SLI
Geil Black Dragon 2 GB memory or OCZ Platinum rev. 2
500 Gb WD SE 16 AAKS s-ata or 2x250 Gb WD SE 16 AAKS s-ata in raid
GPU (not decided yet)
20" Samsung syncmaster

This rig will be use primarely for gaming and surfing, so if there are better options to go for, let me know.

What is your budget?

I would look at something like this

E7200 $120
Biostar Tforce P43 $90
8800gt $120
2x2gb RAM $80
Vista 64bit $110
Antec 900 $120
Thermaltake Purepower 500w PSU $60
DVD Burner $30
640gb Hard Drive $85
Total $815 that sound about right?
Options
E8400 Add $50
Q6600 Add $80
Visiontek 4850 add $65
Visiontek 4870 add $165
Corsair 750w add $50
There was a coupon code making the 4870 $230 AR somewhere

I'm not really good at AMD builds, but I can make Intel builds. I assume your AMD build is around the price of the rig I recommend. And if you were to overclock, the rig I posted would destroy the AMD build. I love AMD as much as the next guy, but I'm trying to get the most of my money, and I hope you are too

If you do go AMD, I hear the tri-cores are giving Intels dual cores a run for their money

If you're staying AMD, why don't you pick up a X3 Phenom with a 780SB board? Great pair. And theres been a price drop on the Phenoms also.

Get the OCZ platinum Rev. 2 6400...I have that kit, and I can run it at 1000Mhz or very tight timings.

I suggest a 4850 aswell, best for your buck at the moment

It's all about the bang for buck, Intel processor prices are going trough the roof atm. for what i have no idea. for example, the q 6600 went from 149 € to 179 € !
Also i am not to sure about the Phenoms, they seem hard to oc and since there are almost no games that benefit from those extra 2 cores i thought i grab me a X2 6000+ for 89 €

Lol I said the X3 Phenom, you could multitask and game, and there was a review around here that showed the X3 being better than a C2D, can't remember which
