4400 personally ....2 cores have got to be better than 1

+1 for the 4400. Dual core is also more future proof.

no such thing in the pc world as future proof.....theres another thread that points out that amd are going to launch a new socket again next year ....so if you call upto 12 months future proofing then oh well

still would go with the dual core though

If you're contemplating buying a FX, go for it. I'd love to get one, only if I had the budget for it... Unlocked multipliers rock dude.

Otherwise the SD 4000+ is also a great chip.

IF you can afford the fx go for it otherwise i say the SD 4000+ which is basically the same except no fully unlocked multi.
