Hell, I stopped posting at XS and EOC just because people there are *&^@ing CRAZY. You post one little error and you get 30 pages of people quoting it and criminalizing you for it. Looks like some of them came to OCN..

If you read the reply i made it was generalized towards any and every person who had a "fanboy" attitude in the thread. no where did i single anyone out, you did that all by yourself. i was mearly trying to get people to look at processors in a different way instead of being gang members of a certian brand.

Your comment about editing my posts so i dont get banned from these forums was a little random and harsh but it shows how angry you are about nothing, feel free to check all of my posts in my profile as they are mostly giving or askign helpful advice. i apoligized for hurting your feelings because when people lose their temper and resort to random names to call others that is usually the case.

On topic, i am very excited about the new amd processors and i hope they can truely hit 4ghz and give intel the competition it needs to lower prices for us all

i think this is a pretty good source but according to the original poster in the coolaler forum the chip runs really hot and he needed 1.6Vcore to reach 4GHz. He also doubts that AMD will sell it at 4Ghz as the chip ran sooo hot. Now plz dont say i dont understand what he typed, im a native chinese speaker/reader

It's not going to be sold at 4Ghz definitely.

But I don't think he said anything about the 1.6V vcore. Later another guy posted CPU-Zs of an AM3 CPU at 2.6Ghz/2.2Ghz (Stock core/NB), and it was all 1.6V (broken).

He also mentioned another CPU crapping out at 3.8Ghz. Hopefully it's just the early stepping, like Core i7 (4Ghz and 1.7V

Oh, and I speak Chinese too, otherwise this news wouldn't even have spread to XS/OCN.

the CPUz Link showed 1.6V for all the OCs and i highly doubt every chip will OC as well as Intel Show Cased 4.5-5Ghz 45nm Dual Cores
