Thanks for the advice everyone but after a whole night of testing, rebooting, resetting cmos I cant get prime95 to like the 2nd core @ 3.2ghz after 15mins...but I play games crysis, cod4, fifa 09 just fine, do you think it is ok @ 3.2ghz? prime95 luvs the 2nd core when clocked @ 3.16ghz though

I lowered my cpu to 3.1ghz and my 3dmark score went up by 300 points

3.1 - 3.2 is where SB750 takes of giving the phenom CPU the extra Mhz. Also as you have seen not much difference form X2 in terms of average but it has more smooth fps.

Is your chipset supported by AMD Overdrive? Maybe you can lower the clocks of each core individualy so you can see which is the weak core that's holding your back. Then you can clock the other two cores back to 3.2ghz.

nice, i cant get my 5200+ stable at practically any OC..2.9 seems to be the best, so a tweak here and there might get it just right. but i've yet to get it to 3.0, which is what i really want.

my ecs board lacks the ability for me to add voltage to northbridge so i think that can be holding me back aswell
