I swear to god I am not trying to "troll", and I am not an Intel "fan" even though their processors are better right now I up until Core 2 Duo I ran Athlons proudly. But how are the Intel fans in "denial"? Core 2 Duos are better right now. I love AMD and wish their processors were competitive right now but facts are facts.

Anyway, good job with the overclocks and testing, it is interesting to see the results. Thanks!

have you been able to push it any further since your initial OC? i got my 8650 to a stable 3.2GHZ 3.3 would boot windows but core 3 would fail after a minute of Prime95 so i deemed unstable. i wish i had an 8750 to play with. it stinks having my multiplier locked at 11.5.

Good, I'm glad you got the 4870 rather then the 4850x2. I almost grabbed the 4870 and I'd like to compare one to the 4830's.
