i did. actually right now im 20 minutes stable on a OCCT test at ~2.4 with mult at x12 and my volts around 1.3.... its steady but i want it to hit 2.5 again ]:
__________________im getting temps of 48c-51c 20min into OCCT... is that a bad thing? (stock cooling)

You won't realistically hit more than 2.6GHz on that chip. 2.5GHz is amazing as it is.

im going to look into a bios update. i read some people updated their bios and the chip clocked flawlessly.
__________________its looking like the cpu s too much for the mobo im using?(or atleast its bios version) ill read up on it a bit more and TRY to get around this. orelse im sending this POS back to Newegg and gettin a 9650 (pointlessly priced higher)

na man thats good cas cpu is at 100% so temps will go high. mine does the same in occt. if u pass the 30min test power cycle it and see if u survive

ATM im letting it kinda sit and get used to running at 2.4ghz while i play Gears of War 2
__________________:P lol its been running fine for 2 hours. i ran an hour test with OCCT and no prob. im gonna start turning up the core clock 1 by 1 till i hit its "dead spot."
