Don't bother. But if you have extra money sometime, invest in a Phenom II

Your CPU is rubbish.
That aside, let's move along. First things first, lower you ram divider and hypertransport speed and bump up your fsb little by little, all the while, of course, raising your vcore in small increments. I'm guessing that your cpu will top out at maybe 2.6-2.7. When you've found a stable cpu clock, go ahead and up your ram and hypertransport until you get close to around the stock settings. 800mhz on the ram and 3600(?)mhz on the hypertransport

B2 Phenoms don't overclock very well (Even for a Phenom I)
Expect around 2.6ghz-2.7ghz tops If you're on stock cooling, don't bother

I would suggest removing the TLB fix if you have it, it kills performance... the Phenom 9500s and 9600s have it.

there should be a bios fix for that. if not, just disable virtualization.
your mobo seems fine. but your 4 sticks of ram might be a hindrance for your oc, but not a problem. expect a 2.5ghz oc with that. you'll be happy if you can go further. all you need to do is bump the htt(cpu bus/fsb) to 228mhz, set your cpu voltage to 1.35. then time your ram manually and add voltage to them. increase northbridge voltage to by a few increments and aim for your norbridge speed between 1800-2000mhz. but i'd get a good cpu cooler first before doing so. good luck with the oc

The fix does It's also not worth disabling for most people since the TLB bug very (very) rarely happens

![]() I have it and the program helped my out quite a bit... I must have been one of the very, very unlucky ones, eh? ![]() The boost you get is very worth it too otherwise it feels like your running off a 1.7 GHz Quad! Pics for proof: ![]() ![]() edit: dont laugh at pikachu wallpaper

I believe I may have chosen some poor words. Sorry. I meant it's not worth disabling the TLB bug, not the fix

I have a Phenom 9500 and the most it's ever gotten up to is 2.6 ghz. Really not worth the trouble of overclocking. I'm probably just gonna get a phenom II
