Question 720BE + 790XT-UD4P Voltage questions!

Heys guys,

I've been playin around with my rig as of late and im currently working on getting it stable. Now im aware taht increasing the voltage to the north and south bridge can increase stability. Off the top of my head I can go up to +0.3 (Or 0.03 cant remember).

So here lies my question, how much of an effect do these voltages have and how much can I run safely?

Also, with the northbridge frequency will running this higher then normal be beneficial or will it actually make the computer more unstable?

Thanks in advance guys!

only increase volts in NB and HT if your OC makes them higher than 2000mhz, when going for stability, its best recommended to get close to 2000mhz as possible. and youll only see a 1% gain/ loss in HT. NB frequencies are more important. just try to keep them ~upto 2000. most ppl can do 2.2-2.4 on nb.

Im at 3816 atm, i get 17-19c idle temps. Im hoping I can get some stable benchies at higher speeds like 3.9-4.0+

Just making sure I dont break anything in the process

Increasing the NB frequency on my 9950 made a slight difference, once you reach an OC you like, try to bump the NB up.

Ok ill give it a shot tonight if i get a chance, still trying to work out how much voltage ddr3 can take. I cant seem to find the answer anywhere, some reviews crank 1.8 up from 1.5 but Im not sure how my ram would take it..
