agreed with most others in this thread *excluding the nah sayer*.
in terms of performance I do know this, when I was doing a build for a friend the kuma core clock for clock in games had around a 10% improvement.
now in other apps not so much of a jump, but I bought this for my g/f's rig and it is definitely better than the 5200+ at 3.2ghz, plus it has taken less volts to get it there.
If you cannot go for a phII then this would be a worthy upg.

yep its going to my gaming rig.I do some vid editing but not much so the extra core is not really worth it.

dude. no point whatsoever. save ur money and get a better mb and a phenom 2 quad so ur not bottle necking ur gpu. the 7750 is almost as bad of a bottleneck as ur 3600

Your board is am2+ so you can put a AM3 CPU in there save up and slam one of those babies in!

I can put a am3 cpu in am2+ boards. this is something i did not know 160 for Am3 chip on egg so thats $100 more than this chip it might be a while till i could do this

Bottlenecks are overrated. Just get a larger monitor

Better mobo + PHII is probably out of his budget, if you haven't bothered reading the thread...

7750 Kuma will do well. Much better than the 3200+.

As for needing a quad core to not bottleneck a video card... heh.

Also, I'm pretty sure AM2+ != AM3 and your board needs to specifically support AM3.
