I would suspect the memory bandwidths should be similar. If not, the Kuma should have an edge. I would presume that you overclocked the Kuma via some HTT, some multiplier. Because of this, your northbridge should be running faster than it would be in a stock Deneb. I know from personal experience memory bandwidth in a Deneb is a joke compared to a Brisbane. However, Kuma is a K10, so it should not be a blowout.
This is funny but true. I compared the 7750 Kuma Zooma with an old Athlon 6400+. The 6400+ kicked the Kuma to the Kurb.

What clocks did you try? A Kuma at stock is the equivalent to about any AM2 x2 at 3.0Ghz.

Not with memory bandwidths. My Brisbane curb stomps my Deneb in terms of memory bandwidth. Run both at DDR2-813, and the Brisbane gets around 9300 MBps. The Deneb is lucky to get 7000 MBps. A lot of that has to do with the Northbridge configuration: in K8s, the Northbridge and Clockspeed are one and the same. On K10s (Kuma, Toliman, Agena) and K10.5s (Callisto, Heka, Deneb) the Northbridge is markedly slower. Try as you might, you cannot get a 2300 MHz Northbridge (my Deneb at present) to hold a candle to a 3250 MHz Northbridge.

7750 is even at par with the Core 2 Duo E8200 according to Guru3D

but to be honest, the 550 is what everyone should have waited for instead of the 7750, it makes the jump from a K8 worth it

Memory Bandwidth is more tricky to get right on K10's because of all the extra config options that all tie in with each other

The thing that makes it tricky is the distinct Northbridge as I said in my post supra. I believe Enigma8750 was comparing memory bandwidths between the 6400+ and the X2 7750 as I was, not the processor as a whole.

Review is doing pretty nicely, coming out not so bad, just trying not to leave out vitals. Ironic thing is I just won a key for the 3DMark Vantage Ad. Edition. I would've done this, but it's too late, and I've been through too many reseats this week already.

ya im interested in the results

and as for the 6400+ this cpu only seems to like 3.2ghz+
if i downclock it to 3.0 it runs horribly, and the 3dmark scores are pretty bad as well at stock

i have recently boosted the HT link by 25% so might try it again to see and compare with these results that come out
