I had a foxconn A7DA-S which was supposed to unlock the 4th core and it didnt.
__________________Got the Gigabyte and it works a treat, im now 3.6ghz stable Where do i find my stepping?

Okay here is my steppings
0906 FPMW this is for my current cpu, I cant find where i wrote down the other two! Customers have them know! What pictures do you want? I will hook you up with them if you tell me. Also on another note, I have recieved a new 720 with this batch: 0904 EPTW It unlocks but wont load windows, Crashes everytime. This is what i have experience with all 720s. Everyone of them have unlocked, but not all are stable. Some are more stable than otheres, some wont even boot windows. If you have the correct motherboards that is to do it

I have an 0904. I didn't buy it for unlocking reasons, but this makes me curious about trying with a different board.

again:
0906 FPMW, its mine and unlocks perfectly stable high OC with the lowest volts on the block! Also I seen quite a few 0904s that dont unlock!

Brought New Cpu
AMD Phenom II X3 720BE  NOW AMD Phenom II X3 720BE + Biostar Ta790gx 128mb = unlock 4th Core It's a sucess and Now OC with my Watercooling kit...WOO is stable and working fine.... and temp is 36C ideal and 42C on full load.  Did Online VirtualMarks on my pc last night. here's the result.

Too lazy to take off the cooler :P, but mine can unlock the 4th core.
There should be a list of mobos that can unlock. The Gigabyte MA790XT-UD4P can unlock the 4th core, by setting EC Firmware to Hydrid, and then ACC to Auto.
