I think the success on unlocking cores is motherboard limited... not CPU.

no unlocking the 4th core is related to cpu cause those x3 720 are quad core with 4th core disabled so u dont know if ur 4th core is defective or not .... overclocking results may vary depending on the motherboard chipset

I see where you are coming from. I beleive there are very many more cpus that can unlock but their motherboard wont let them. As a matter of fact i think 90% of 720s can unlock to post X4 with the right motherboard or BIOS, but being stable is another thing all together. there is usually some reason they are dissabled quads, the reason may be so minor it doesnt even effect a user at all. then the supply and demand factor. I think that the demand will catch up with the supply sometime and probably already has a couple unless they just cant make CPUs worth anything.

Mine is 0851FPAW and stable 4th core with biostar board. I tried before using foxconn a79a-s and jetway ha-07 ultra, but no luck
