If I remember correctly, you usually want the HT frequency to be as close to 2000 MHz as you can manage. Above 2000 warrants no performance upgrade, and slightly diminished stability. So, just keeping right around 2000 is what you want to do, unless I am confusing some sort of terminology.

No you're right, usually 1800-2100 is safe... Some have seen diminished performance and stability with anything above it.

.so basically leave it at 2000 (HT link), but sometimes you want to take it down a notch to increase stability?

CPU northbridge frequency (NB freq) needs to go up a bit as you increase CPU clocks, for better stability.

Ya, I believe the HTT is linked to the FSB, so you may have to decrease the HTT Multiplier once the FSB starts skyrocketing, which we all know it will.

Actually, increasing HT clocks can net you gains in 3dmark, although they are small gains.

HT is the AMD version of FSB, as has been said, keep it around 2Ghz.
