Yep thats what I would do take the motherboard out redo the tim again making sure everything is good and boot it out of the case with just the basics connected and see if it boots

Is it your sig rig your having problems with? If so I have just found some pics online that show the north bridge with what looks like a copper back plate, is there any way you migh have shorted the board replacing it?

What TIM you using?

If there were TIM marks on the board from AS5 or something along those lines, it is conductive and alas it may have be the problem.

some revews I found about his tim, thermalright chill factor, all stated its non-conductive.

if you look on the second line down in features on that link you posted it does say its non-conductive so i dont think its your tim.
