I'm hoping to get this chip soon cause it seems like it can hit 4.0Ghz pretty easy. I want to get there for gaming and bragging rights Getting to 3.7 stable was a chore on my 955 and it took me almost two weeks. This thing looks like it will hit 4.0 in one night.

Nice work Ben, yeah an AMD 4.0 GHz Club sticky is definetly achievable, I had the same hassel with my 955...infact 3.7 24/7 was all she would do.

thinks yes, without high northbridge yes. With so high northbridge think, only maybe. But his Cinebench at 4000MHz and 2800 MHz NB is cool stress for CPU and northbridge, isnt far away stability.

Once I really do some real benching for wPrime I will back down my NB to the 2000MHz range so I can really get a good clock on the CPU since wPrime is all about the cpu clocks. I mean I ran these benches remotely logged in through LogMeIn, so it really was just a fun test.

I also run cinebench to get a good idea of how bench stable it will be. If it passes a few runs of the multi-cpu test then it is definatly bench stable if not close to everyday stable.

all in all yes, know, but in wprime benchmark is the best the same ration HT to NB. I make most CPU benchmarks with Phenoms from begin 2008 year. Exmaple for superpi is it about CPU clock, uncore and RAM timing, Cinebench about CPU clock and ideal NB clock to actual CPU clock etc etc
