Guess I should post some of mine up.
First 4.2 GHz verification.
Next some benches
With Phsyx

06

These are a little slow but I have not had time to do some real bench sessions, I plan to raise this chip to 4.2 or above as soon as I get some spare time to mess around.

Yea starting up new businesses take a LOT of time. I sitll need to learn more about OC'ing ram let alone OC'ing ram on these new IMC's.

I was worried I hd a "Bad" chip..... Ok what I found out I had a hard time at high multi low FSB(HTT)

I backed it down to 15 X and 267HTT and am passing S & M Stress test. It is not as tough as prime95 but I found a combo that works much better than High multi. This chip is way different than 955, i will tell you that.

I also need a high voltage on CPU/Multi(1.4V) and running 1.575V on CPU at 4.004Ghz.

interesting as I found with mine that I could go no higher then a 20x multi.
Are you saying that you are able to run less voltage with a high HTT?
Also are you using Load line cal or cpu VTT or the likes?

Same here higher 20 sux. Playin with lower multu still not stable but better results. Seems I need higher cpu/NB voltage too than 955...

I was with 8g ram last night with win7 64bit. I will try with 4G tonite. If no success will switch to 32 bit.

Glad to see this thread still has some life.

I just purchased the 965 and I'm running into a problem I had with my 955 and trying to determine what it might be.

Every so often my system will restart wether I'm playing a game or just simply surfing the web. No BSOD, just a reboot. I changed my CPU and memory which only leaves the MB but I think it may just be something I'm over looking.

What voltages are you guys running the CPU-NB at? My NB is set to the standard 2000Mhz and I haven't OC'd it. My NB is set to 1.1 and My CPU right now is running at 3.8 at 1.42v so I think that should be enough to feed it.

Here's a quick screenie:

Also I should add that I have both of my Kaze's plugged straight into my MB. At first I thought they were causing fluctuations in my voltages but I turned them down to 50% int he BIOS and still have the random restarts.

I may be premature but the 965 is blowing real bad. I finally am running at 4.014GHz @1.6V. All the overclock testing from the reviews basically are lies. I saw 2 that said 4.1GHz on air @ 1.475V(stable). Bullcrap. I cannot get it to go past 1 min on prime95.

I backed everything down to stock and cannot get anything past 20 X on multi, with voltages from 1.475 to 1.625. I backed multi down to 15 X and low 4Ghz and nothing. Found a middle at 18.5 X 217 but I need 1.6V. I am at 47 degr. with my sig cooling so temps are not a problem. I ran prime95 and finnally got a rounding error on 1 core with no crash(experience tells me a slight bump in CPU/NB voltage). I bumped the CPU/NB voltage 1 notch and finnaly over 15 min in a prime 95 blend run.

I think these testers get good chips from AMD and that makes me pi$$ed. I have great watercooling and cannot get "close" to what they say on air. Its such bullcrap.

I am running auto ram at 1066 wit 7/7/7/20 2T with stock voltage. Everything else is on auto and hpert. and NB is at 2160(auto).

I had my 955 stable 24/7 @ 3.97GHz. Big jump with this 965..LOL I was looking for 4.1Ghz + but it is only 2 days....

Update: 25 min in prime95 blend.

Update: Piece-o-crap.... crash at 30 Min.

Update:Raised Vcore to 1.625 crash 5 min. Lowering to 1.575 and raising CPU/NB to 1.175 (2160)
