i'm building one for a friend. i wonder if i can go 3ghz on a 620 with the stock heatsink.

I heard that athlon II X4 620 is a Phenom II 245 or 240 with the L3 cashe unlock. So getting to 3.0ghz it should be fine with stock cool.

I can't say proof or anything but I have the Athlon II 245 and I have the 720BE and they use exactly the same heat sink.
