Well,
__________________I've read almost all of the 955BE guides that I can get my hands on, but I am looking for a little bit of personalized help here. I hooked up mugen 2 last night and added a kaze push, temps went from about 44 to about 35, not bad for living in phoenix I guess. I booted into bios and bumped my multiplier up to 17.5, putting me at 3.5 ghz. Ran occt for about an hour, no problems, temp was around 44 under load, so figured I could go higher. Bumped it up to 3.6, again, same results. Bumped it up to 3.8, BSOD, so went back into bios, and tuned my ram. It was set at 1033 with timings like, 7-9-7-30. By the way: here's my ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227365 OCZ gold 1600. So anyways, changed the clock multiplier on the ram to 8, putting it at 1600 and changed the timings to 8-8-8-24 as recommended by the manufacturer. Also bumped the voltage on them up to 1.64. Now when I boot into win7, and run occt I get errors on core 0 and occt stops almost immediately, even at the default 3.2 ghz clock. I then bumped my memory back down to 1033 and ran occt at 3.4 ghz, and after 2 hours it locks up my computer. Any ideas? Am I doing something terribly wrong here? My gut tells me it's the RAM giving me the issues, but I'm just not sure. I thought at first maybe I did not have enough voltage to the cpu (was at 1.35), so I bumped it up to 1.4 and got it to run at 3.8 for about five minutes before locking again. Again, I know there's guides for this, but I feel like i've tried everything, and any help is greatly appreciated.
