And C3 stepping on the 945s? I wonder if they'll have the new IMC that was on the 965 as well ?

A new stepping brings improvements over the previous stepping.

Sometimes the improvements are quite major
(like the G0 stepping for the Q6600, which brought down the TDP tremendously, increased OC potential, and increased heat tolerance)
