Exclamation AMD Athlon II X4 620 Propus

I have been reading up on this CPU and I am amazed at what it can do for the $99 price tag. Its performance is right below a Phenom II X4 945. Anybody using this CPU and can confirm just how good it is.

check this out for some benchmarks on the chip. looks promising for a quad-core with that pricetag.

I just installed one in my rig. It overclocks well provided you have decent RAM and a good MoBo. Don't count on unlocking the L3 cache, it's highly unlikely. Stock HSF sucks for anything over 3.25Ghz. If you plan to buy it get some good PC3-12800 and an aftermarket cooler.

Would it be too much to ask to please speak in proper English. Your not texting someone on your mobile.
The question I ask is, does the lack of the L3 cache have a negative impact on gaming?.

According to benchmarks, the lack of L3 cache slightly reduces gaming performance, but in other applications it's actually faster.

IMO Propus is underrated, clock for clock, in new games its about 10% slower than a 965, and in most applications is the same if not faster (but who cares if a rar takes 10 seconds longer )
Also smaller die and no l3 cache means less heat, which in theory increases OCing potential. (If only they had a unlocked multi )

If your gonna buy one, go for the 630 (higher multi for OCing!)
