Default System Decision

Vote poll

Stating reasons for vote is much welcome

Reason for Gelid fan is because of a current sale
No Megahalems because Canadian prices for it are outrageous, at $20 more than the TRUE, $30+ more when AM2 bracket is added

God Damn It, I meant to click the "TRUE Black + Gelid Silent PWM fan" option since that thing would last you for a long time. Considering its reputation and compatibility with many current CPU and being able to support future CPU makes it a worthwhile purchase.

I'd say Athlon 240 X2 or 550BE if you can afford it mate.

These will be far greater clock for clock than your 5000+ and that xigmatek will give them some overclocking headroom aswell.

There's a thing called sample variance. I think my Xigmatek is a runt (Lower range of the variance). The performance is not what I had expected.

Applying TIM for it isn't a pleasant experience either.

Sounds like you've made you're mind up then already mate.

I meant it's better than stock anyway so you could at least get some extra juice from it.

Not entirely.

If I get the TRUE, there won't exactly be a tangible performance increase, if you know what I mean.
