i messed up badly, lol. i turned the lever anti-clockwise (the clip is over the heatsink) and temps halved (i'm in mid 30's - low 40's), i can't be arsed reseating & reapplying the thermal paste atm.

Those are now normal idle temps for the Dark Knight at stock 955BE CPU speeds. You are lucky that chip still works.

*sigh* dont feel bad, my stock heatsink was never properly put on because i didnt turn the lever all the way lol my temps were never as bad as urs but they got up their sometimes lol
