not really sure the 620 Overclocks nicely. When it first came out a review hit 3.6ghz with it.

I am also going to suggest a 720 BE, mainly because they offer such fantastic bang for buck, with the promise of around 3.6Ghz on an overclock, and the possibility of a 4th Core unlock, what isn't to like?

The 550BE is also a strong contender, beats the E8** in price and performance, even more with a nice overclock. 3.8Ghz or so is easy with these chips, and again, the possibility of unlocking a 3rd or 4th core.

EDIT: Noticed your board is SB600, silly me!

In that case, I say grab a Athlon X4 620, they are amazing bang for buck!

I'd say the chances of unlocking all 2 cores is bigger than both of them being faulty, after what ive read.

Anyways, i've got the 550BE, i have unlocked it at overclocked it to 3.8ghz, and its running pretty stable.

Oh for sure. I'm gonna be using my push and pull TRUE setup with some OCZ Freeze or MX-3

I'm pretty much set on getting the X4 620. Seems like the best choice. I'm also getting for my cousin's build.
