Default 720x3 stuck at 3.4

im trying to reach 3.6.i got my voltage at 1.5,and i can run prime for 5 minutes till i crash.im scared to go higher with voltage.is there something else holding me back?maybe cpu/nb?my temps are good,so thats not going to be an issue.

small fft means its not getting enough vcore, blend mostly about your nb or ram... i say 1.25 - 1.3 for cpu-nb and try to start from 2000 nb, might want to try backing your timming to 5-5-5-18 to see if ram is the problem...

would be nice if you could put your bios settings so others can help

1.5 Volts should be more than enough for 3.6 my 720 BE would do 3.7 on 1.48 volts when I had it.

What are your load temps? Are you running Small FFT or blend? As you may need to give the IMC a little voltage bump.

Also are you using the Multi to overclock or the FSB? -

5 minutes fail on prime blend is still on 1024K fft, i say add more cpu-nb for the IMC just like Riskitall84 wrote.. 1.8 - 1.9 for ram at 800 5-5-5-18, i assume ur using 200x18

happy tweaking

Ok so if it never breaks 40 its not temps.

Its either gonna be your ram or your IMC

Find the option in your bios for CPU-NB voltage and give it a little bump

Have you tried an FSB overclock with a lower Multi as my chip did prefered a 15.5 Multi x 239 for 3.7 and 249 for 3.8
